Growing up, I would beg my sisters or friends to get dressed up for a photo shoot picnic in the backyard and then spend hours editing a picture of how the watermelon looked against the checkered blanket.
I had this desire to freeze moments in time. To capture the beauty, joy, and symmetry found in everyday life and keep it forever. Never would I have imagined that this little trait would become my full-time profession.
When life changed my circumstances through Covid and a transition to online school, I decided to jump all-in to photography and give it a try. It took off! I quickly realized that being a photographer was a better fit than any job I thought I wanted to do originally. It's the people and their stories that keep it endlessly fulfilling.
